Transitions is a textbook designed to ease students of ESL into intermediate concepts of English grammar.
Transitions, as the name implies, aims at transitioning students of English as a second language into intermediate concepts of spoken and written grammar in a way that is functional and engaging to the student. It contains a concise review of the three basic grammatical structures and their corresponding variations along with new material. It was developed as a beginning conversation instrument without compromising the need to enforce the four basic skills of second language acquisition, thus the text contains sufficient writing activities that can further be developed into meaningful communicative exercises.
